Apple MacBook Air M3 Review
Apple’s MacBook Air M3 refines the already excellent M2 model with a 3-nanometer chip that delivers a 20% speed bump in both CPU and GPU tasks. The fanless design remains dead silent, yet it handles 4K video editing and light gaming without breaking a sweat. The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display is bright (500 nits) and colour-accurate (P3 wide colour).
Battery life is exceptional – Apple rates it at 18 hours, and real-world mixed use easily exceeds 14 hours. The MagSafe charging frees up both USB-C ports. The quad-speaker system with Spatial Audio fills a room impressively for a laptop this thin.
At $1,099, it’s $100 more than the M2 Air was at launch, but the performance gains justify the increase. The base 8 GB RAM is the only real compromise; opt for 16 GB if you multitask heavily. For students, writers, and casual creators, this is the laptop to buy.
