The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra redefines what a robot cleaner can do. Its massive dock connects to your water line (or uses refillable tanks), automatically washing the mop pads with heated water, then drying them with warm air. The robot vacuums and mops simultaneously, with 6,000 Pa of suction power that rivals cordless stick vacuums.

LiDAR mapping is rapid and precise, and the reactive 3D obstacle avoidance identifies and steers clear of pet waste, shoes, and cables. The VibraRise 3.0 mopping system scrubs at 4,000 times per minute and lifts the mop when carpet is detected. The result is a genuinely hands-off floor cleaning experience.

$1,800 is a staggering amount for a vacuum, but for large homes with mixed flooring, the S8 MaxV Ultra pays for itself in time saved. It’s the closest thing to hiring a daily cleaner.
