The Roomba j9+ is iRobot’s most refined robot vacuum yet. The 3-stage cleaning system with dual rubber brushes excels at picking up pet hair without tangling. PrecisionVision navigation uses a front-facing camera and 3D sensor to identify and avoid obstacles like cords, socks, and pet waste – a feature that prevents messy disasters.

The Clean Base automatically empties the bin into a sealed bag, holding up to 60 days of debris. The iRobot app offers room-by-room cleaning, keep-out zones, and integration with Alexa and Google Assistant. Battery life is sufficient for a 1,500 sq. ft. home on a single charge.

The main drawback is the lack of a mopping function, which competitors like Roborock offer at similar prices. If mopping isn’t essential and you want the best vacuuming performance, the j9+ delivers.
