The Makita LS1019L is a finish carpenter’s dream. The 4-rail sliding system requires zero rear clearance, so you can push it against a wall. The 10-inch blade spins at 3,200 RPM and crosscuts up to 12 inches wide. The laser guide is factory-calibrated and accurate – what you see is exactly where the blade cuts.

The dual-bevel design tilts 48° left and right, and the miter range of 60° left/right handles even the most complex trim work. The direct-drive motor requires no belt changes and transmits power efficiently. At 58 pounds, it’s portable enough to move between job sites with the optional stand.

The dust collection is poor without a dedicated vacuum; the included bag fills in seconds. But for precision and smooth operation, the LS1019L is unmatched at its price point.
