The Wyze Bulb Color is absurdly good value. For $12, you get a 1,100-lumen bulb with 16 million colours and tunable white from 1800K to 6500K. No hub is required – it connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi – and setup via the Wyze app takes under a minute.

The bulb supports schedules, timers, vacation mode, and sunrise alarms. Voice control works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Colour reproduction is not as accurate as Philips Hue, but at one-tenth the price, the trade-off is more than acceptable for accent lighting or kids’ rooms.

The main downside is occasional Wi‑Fi disconnections that require a power cycle. For critical areas, Philips Hue remains more reliable, but for everything else, the Wyze Bulb Color is a steal.
